Order Placement
Pre-orders begin August 2025 exclusively via Indiegogo. Please refer to our campaign page for instructions on placing your order.

Order Processing & Fulfillment Timeframe

Orders will be processed once our campaign and manufacturing milestones are reached.

You will receive an estimated delivery timeframe after your order is confirmed.

Based on current projections, orders are expected to be shipped within 6–12 months of being processed.

Delivery estimates may vary depending on stock availability, logistics, global events, or supply chain conditions.

We will keep you updated regularly on the progress of your order.

Shipping Method - Sea Freight (Default)
All orders are shipped by sea freight from our China-based warehouse to international ports by default.

Sea freight is our standard method due to its sustainability and cost-effectiveness for large-format products.

Once your shipment arrives in your destination country, a local logistics provider or freight forwarder will complete the final delivery.

Optional: Air Freight
If you require faster delivery, air freight is available upon request.

All air freight charges will be quoted separately and must be paid in full before shipment.

Delivery times via air freight vary by destination but are typically 7–14 business days after dispatch.

How Will My Order Be Packaged?

Products will ship in custom-designed cardboard boxes.

All training vehicles will be partially assembled in three core segments, allowing for straightforward user assembly upon arrival.

Detailed assembly instructions will be included.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs (sea or air) will be quoted at checkout or invoiced after your Indiegogo order.

Customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or clearance charges are not included in the shipping cost.

These are imposed by your country’s authorities and are your sole responsibility.

How Long Does Shipping Take?
Delivery timeframes vary by region and begin after your order has shipped. The following are estimated transit times:

Refusal of delivery, unpaid import duties, or providing incorrect shipping details may result in forfeiture of the order without refund.

Returns Policy
​We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not, most items can be returned within **30 days of receipt** for a refund, subject to the terms below.
What Can Be Returned

Most unused, undamaged items in original packaging

Items must include proof of purchase (invoice or order number)
Non-Returnable Items
Some items are marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page. These cannot be returned or refunded. Please check product listings before placing your order.
How to Initiate a Return
1. Email us at [hello@skilplane.com](mailto:hello@skilplane.com) with your order number and reason for return.
2. We will confirm eligibility and provide you with the return address in New Zealand.
3. All items must be returned freight prepaid, using a trackable and insured service (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS, or local postal service).
International Returns
If you are returning an item from outside New Zealand, please note:

You are responsible for all return shipping costs to our New Zealand warehouse

We are not responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees incurred in sending your return

Returned packages must be clearly marked as "Returned Goods" to avoid import charges being levied

Returns that are not clearly marked, or that incur import fees, may be refused or refunded minus any charges incurred.
Refund Terms

Returns are subject to a 25–35% restocking fee

Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Refunds will be issued within 5–10 business days of return receipt and inspection

Items returned in used, damaged, or incomplete condition may not be eligible for a full refund

Items returned to the wrong address or without prepaid shipping will not be refunded.
Refused or Missed Deliveries

Return a non-defective or correctly delivered item

You will be charged all original and return shipping fees, plus a restocking fee (25–35%). Return shipping costs may range from $10 to $1,000, depending on size and weight. These will be deducted from your refund.
Order Cancellations

Orders cancelled within 3 business days of placement are eligible for a full refund

Orders cancelled after 3 business days may incur a 10% cancellation fee, plus deduction of any prepaid shipping costs
